    Your problem consists of two distinct parts. One is your personal protection and the other is your traumatic experiences. While EMDR will help your PTSD and anxiety it won't make you safe from your stalker.

    It is my experience that while a victim is continuing to be stalked treatment is less effective but EMDR will help you remove the emotional effect of the traumatic memories.

    Once you feel safe from him/her you will respond better to treatment. EMDR will probably help make your reactions to your situation more appropriate and less due to hyperarousal.
