    Re:emdr and knee-jerk reflex

    I cannot make recommendations here as to specific case questions, and neither should anyone else since we don't have enough information about any case to make informed comments here.

    In general, I will make some comments that may or may not apply to any given case.

    I have heard of no case reports of reflex reactions changing as a result of EMDR. I can think of no reason why, theoretically, EMDR would be predicted to effect a true reflex reaction. EMDR is theoretically postulated to remove obstacles to health, not remove health.

    Let's see if anyone else knows of a related case.
