I never took your comments to be an attack or an insult. I just thought they were misdirected. Moreover, they illustrate exactly what I find so frustrating about many conversations about EMDR. Specifically, clinical observations get elevated to the status of fact and treated as true and unique procedures associated with EMDR are assumed to be effective until there is data to disprove them. But science works the other way around: Clinical observations are at best provisional until controlled observation are made and specific procedures are assumed innert until proven effective.
