    Nope, I'm not saying that. EMDR is vary similar to the treatments that work for PTSD. However, the focus on bilateral stimulation is counter-productive since it is ineffective. Again, if I could borrow an analogy made by others, it would be like taking asprin and adding pink food dye and then agressively marketing it as superior to boring old asprin. Attacking that claim is not ad hominem, it's the point. The scientific evidence available refutes the claim that pink coloring makes asprin beter, so to speak.
