It's not unusual to have some kind of temporary alteration in feelings, thoughts, behaviors, dreams after an emdr session. In a few cases (and by no means am I assuming this applies to you, but it is a general comment) it means that the therapist has either failed to screen for a dissociative condition or that a long-lost ego state has been pulled forward by the work. If you review this forum and/or its archives, you'll find a number of reports of significant changes after EMDR.
For some people the phenomenon is transitory, in which case it is no big deal. For some people it is a sign that the EMDR therapist has jumped the gun and needs to do some preparatory steps first before proceeding with more EMDR.
