Sandra is correct. You must be licensed (or certified, registered, whatever) for independent mental health practice, or an advanced graduate student/intern/etc. on a licensure track (with your supervisor in that case endorsing your taking the training). The way to tell if your credential counts? Those licensed for independent practice, with few exceptions, are eligible for third-party (insurance) reimbursement. Criteria for training eligibility should be posted on the EMDR International Association's web site: http://www.emdria.org
