I think the ability to create a comfort zone of privacy is very much a boundary issue. I am able (as you are) to articulate and maintain my own boundaries. However the boundary I was referring to was professional, namely the ability of professionals to engage in clinical discussion without risk of offending or hurting clients who are also participating or "listening" in. If this were the problem, that I was the only client in a group of professionals, I would see the point about posting my email. I would not be an equal. But this forum is not currently limited to professionals. In fact, most of the recent questions are from emdr clients. And at least one is from a therapist who is also a client. Thus, I do not see how my posting an (anonymous, as you found out) email address is inappropiate. I wish all the professionals who have slammed emdr on this page and made horrible accusations and assumptions would also post email address.
