Thanks for your thoughtful and informative responses to posts on this forum!

I am a new EMDR client, and have read all the books I can lay hands on. The books, however, do not tell the patient what to expect during EMDR treatment.

(I find that I am at a loss for words when asked to describe my EMDR experience -- the best I do is say, "Well it's a little weird, but it seems to be doing something.")

It is such a normalizing experience it is for me to read the posts here!
