In a brief article, Hollon (2003) argues that there is much more evidence for long-term beneficial effects form CBT than from any other treatment approach. He cites studies that provide evidence that CBT has enduring effects when used as a treatment for depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder.
