    Re:paranoia and cognitive therapy

The chapters which I wrote on Paranoid Personality Disorder for Cognitive Therapy of Personality Disorders (Beck, Freeman, Pretzer, et al, 1990, Guilford) and for Clinical Applications of Cognitive Therapy (Freeman, Pretzer, Fleming & Simon, 1990, Plenum) are specifically on Paranoid Personality Disorder but much of what I say applies with paranoia in general.

You can find a detailed case presentation of CT with Paranoid Personality Disorder in the clinical case conference here at Behavior OnLine (http://www.behavior.net/forums/archives/clinicalcase/1998/gary/) and you can find the same case discussed in the chapter Tim Beck and I wrote for Major Theories of Personality Disorder (Clarkin & Lenzenweger, 1996).

In a previous thread on this topic, Peter Holmes recommended Kingdon's work on this topic as well as a book by Haddock & Slade but I don't have either of those references handy.
