I have followed this thread with great interest, and am curious if anyone has had experience treating one of Jehovah's Witnesses with major depression? If so, do you find it necessary to address religious aspects into the cognitive discussions themselves? Did the religious belief system appear to be tied in any way to the depression? The situation in question is with a Jehovah's Witness client and a Jewish therapist. In this case, religious issues are a piece of the overall picture, but the focus has generally been on other issues.
