I beg your pardon? I don't think my comments said anything about using schema therapy instead of basic cognitive therapy. The offenders get basic cognitive therapy with a 30 session Cognitive Interventions Program which focuses on the thinking leading to their criminal behaviors, anger and also teaches cognitive skills like problem-solving and social skills. My schema-focused therapy focuses on more lifelong, relationship problems which are very personality-oriented in nature. I would like you to be more specific if you are criticizing my comments. Please address my interest in Young's schema processes of maintenance, compensation and avoidance which I think is one of the more important parts of his theory.
