    Re:Question about assessing beliefs?

On the first question: Sorry, I don't think the order in which the posts appear can be changed. Also, if you're in the habit of simply checking at the end of the forum for new posts, you're missing new additions to threads that appear earlier in the forum. If you want to catch all the new posts, I'd recommend scrolling through the whole forum periodically.

On the second question, there are quite a few paper and pencil measures of thoughts, beliefs, schemas, and related concepts. Some of them are pretty poor and others have potential for being useful for both research and clinical practice. Off the top of my head I can think of the Irrational Beliefs Test, the Automatic Thnoughts Questionnaire, the Marital Attitudes Survey, the Dysfunctional Attitude Scale, and the Schema Questionnaire. At the moment I can't think of anywhere where one can find a listing of these measures or a discussion of their good and bad points. I'll see if I can find one.
