CBT (and Behavior Therapy) hasn't paid as much attention to the therapist's emotions as some other approaches have. However, this topic has been receiving greater attention in recent years. The Summer, 2000 issue of Cognitive and Behavioral Practice includes an interesting Special Series: "Accentuating the Role of Therapist Emotion in Behavior Therapy Training" which considers this issue from a variety of perspectives.
