i don't know the exact content of this chat, being new to this site, but is upsetting because, as a master's level therapist, (MFT intern,) I am already having a hell of a time getting supervised child/family/adolescent hours required for liscensure, and time running out... if there is going to be a requirement of supervised hours with specific populations, those in profession already liscence need to be willing to help newer therapists to get liscened and to get needed experience... in other professions, there are mentoring relationships, and "older" professionals help "newere" members out. Any suggestions re: PAID INTERNSHIP ( I have a family to support!) IN S.F. BAY AREA WORKING WITH CHILDREN/ADOLESCENTS AND FAMILIES, WOULD BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. Thx Gdieckman@mindspring.com
