Just quickly reading this posts on caring and wanting the client to do well. It sounds to me as if that maybe more about the therapist's need rather then the client's need. I would suggest trying to figure out what the client is gaining by not revealing themself. It maybe that this particular client has the need to stay at the point they are in thier life for the time being. If that is the case just be in the moment with the client and be ready to move forward when they are. Not sure if this is worth anything or makes sense but I thought it does.
