Student Starting in Jan.

Hi! My name is Janna and I'm in Ohio. In January of 2004, I will be starting college at a 2 year school that has a program in Mental Health Technology. I'm going to earn an Associates Degree in Mental Health Tech and a ceritficate in Chemical and Dependancy studies. My goal would be either to work on a crisis hotline or an inpatient setting for children and adolscents. (I need a spelling class also)

I am trying to find some kind of direction and would like to talk to people in this profession. Would also like to learn alittle before I start school. I was planning on starting school this month but a setback has pushed it back and I am super excited.

I am wondering if it would be ok for me to ask questions here and read up on things in general or if anyone knows of another site that may help me out. I would appreciate any response!
