Thinking. As written above, what is abuse? Although I haven't read a huge body of literature on it, I do read.

--Abuse that anyone, in any relationship, labels abuse. For example, yelling or belittling.

--I've seen many angry posts on message boards about sexual abuse by therapists.

--Bad therapy. Therapy models that don't ever work with anyone, and then damage a person. Misdiagnosis and related incorrect treatment that damages. Although this is abusive, is it abuse, or the nature of a discipline that is harmful and unproven for the most part? Will people look back on psychotherapy in 100 years and view it much like we see the practice of blood letting in previous centuries: ineffective, dangerous, ghoulish, and sometime deadly.
