Don's reply to me: I guess your pseudonym gives away your opinion on this matter. My answer: Sure Don. I have some friendships that in amount of sharing reminds me of those very few true long term friendships leftover from the teenage years. I say this due to the amount of sharing, talking on the phone, and reaching out to each other. These friendships has also lasted for quite a few years by now. Some of them I have met in person, others I have not yet had that pleasure of meeting in person. A very small handful of these friendships has stood the test of time and trials, and I show those friends a lot of heartfelt trust. Ohhh, and of course, (big grin), I just happened to meet my husband online as well. We have been happily married for 5 years now, and have lived together for almost 6 years :o). Sooooooooooo yeah, online relationships are very real. Occassionally I miss being able to reach out to my close friend and give her a huge hug. Now, it just so happened that I moved away from my home country 6 1/2 years ago, and so my long time teenage friends are also very far away from me, and I have to settle with online and phone interactions with them as well. The same goes for my family of origin. Da Friendly Puter Tech
