I would say that your reasoning leaves much to be desired in this post.

I think priests who abuse their power should be persecuted to the full extent of the law. Does that make it so I must have been abused by priests?

I think teachers who abuse their power should be persecuted, does that mean that a teacher necessarily has abused me?

I could go on of course. The summasumarum is that there exists abusive people in this world. When those people are in roles of authority they cause hurt. I can listen to those people who were hurt and empathize with what they have been through. THerefore I think all abusers should be persecuted.

Thankfully there are far more ethical therapists, priests and teachers than there are unethical ones. *shrug* but then again, this concept might be hard for you to comprehend.
