In what we call “passive philosophy” concepts are tossed around in order to essentially amuse and inspire imaginative speculation. Guru types and others can often use passive philosophical postulations in order to trick people into thinking that they are wiser than they actually are. The person listening to such postulations can be intimidated into not questioning so as not to appear ignorant. I feel that many are tricked by charlatans using fancy ‘passive philosophy’ in order to gain followers. In what we call “active philosophy” everything we believe must be directly applicable towards the moment-by-moment manipulations of our daily existence in order to be worth believing in. If I have not received direct manifestations of God through His Son Jesus Christ guiding and protecting my life I would not believe. And so my relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ comes under the heading of ‘active philosophy’ for me. If you do not have the faith to believe in a manner to manifest miraculous intervention Jesus Christ, at best, remains in the area of ‘passive philosophy’ for you. I will attempt to explain my view of the illusional nature of reality as it applies to what we call fully functional “active philosophy.” People can easily see the miraculous stories of Jesus Christ as being preposterous just as the theological world saw the concept of the sun revolving around the Earth as being preposterous during the days of Galileo. Recently I taped a PBS program about the nature of the universe. At one point they spoke about particles so small that they could easily pass directly through a solid block of lead without touching anything. They also spoke of matter in a black hole that is so dense an amount equivalent to a teaspoon would weigh many Earth tons. They spoke about all that we call the matter of the universe once being so densely packed together, before the “Big Bang”, that it was about the size of the head of a pin. The point being that what we call “solid objects” are actually made up of mostly empty space thus their sense of solidity is an illusion. A (((real))) illusion because we can consistently experience such objects, but an illusion nonetheless. As I pondered upon the scientific concepts revealed I was boggled by the fact that in order to believe them to be true taxed my sense of faith rather heavily. It was not so different as believing in the miraculous wonders of the Bible, as far as I was concerned. Both the scientific and religious camps believe their views to be the ‘gospel truth.’ I am personally not concerned with what is supposedly true in either the scientific or religious camps. What I am concerned with is what from all these extraordinary beliefs can I personally use to better my life here and now. That is the bottom line in what we call “active philosophy.” We consider philosophical, scientific or religious postulations to all be relegated to the realm of ‘faith’ if we cannot use those postulations towards the manifestations of a more wonderful life here and now. So what I personally gain from the PBS program about the nature of the universe is a belief that what we casually call solid “reality” is actually made up mostly of empty space. This very, so called, reality was all once about the size of the head of a pin and there are indeed particles so small they could easily pass through a solid block of lead without touching anything. If this is true then miracles are indeed possible for I see it as nothing short of miraculous that such things are actually quantifiably real. If this is the case then the possibilities of the mind must also be extraordinary beyond all conceivable modern extrapolations. I now believe quite strongly that the lives we are living at the moment came into being as the direct result of the thoughts we consistently harbor. Those averaged out thoughts literally attract and create the reality we are living. I have personally verified in power spots so beautiful they boggle the imagination that the universe is indeed sentient and alive. I have learned the art of ‘romancing the universe’ with what Castaneda’s don Juan called a spirit catcher (I use a Spanish Guitar). I now believe that through specially guided and sustained thoughts in harmony with the living universe I can attract and maintain a quality of specific mood energy through my mind that will attract all manner of health, wealth, abundance, prosperity, love, joy and much laughter. I envision that I will be able to help others who I choose to attract the same consistent energy through the disciplining of their thoughts and reshape their lives as well. I envision being warned long enough in advance to have all matters fully prepared for my passing from this life and I envision myself living my dream to die laughing. All the philosophies that truly matter to me are the active philosophies that will manifest the lifelong dream that I have just presented. I personally am not interested in any philosophy or knowledge that is not directly connected to the three-dimensional manifestations of this dream I am clarifying and relentlessly developing upon. It seems ridiculous to me to attempt to staunchly convince the skeptics that the entire universe is indeed sentient and alive. Look what it did for Galileo attempting to convince the ignorant that the Earth revolved around the sun. Like it or not, as far as belief in a sentient and alive universe most of you are as ignorant as those who persecuted Galileo.
