Anguished: Please Check Out Father-Daughter Archetype

Hello, Anguished,

Having read your post, it is possible that you've entered the father-daughter archetype. I'm an older male licensed therapist who has been within this archtypal energy several times. It is not sexual attraction energy. It is a fullfilment energy that arises when there is a mission or values alignment such as between two therapists, or two writers etc. But it can be very confusing to both the "daughter" and the "father." The big problem is that there is very little information on this dynamic. I have given it a lot of thought and even now am working on bringing it to consciousness without any guilt or shame. This energy is very important energy...check out amor and psyche...the third trial where the eagle brings water to psyche. It is male energy being passed to female to strengthen animus.

This dynamic is very personal and easily misunderstood leading to shame and guilt if you've not gotten clear. I don't want to put my personal experiences here as you have done (took a lot of guts on your part!)...if you want to dialogue about it email me emilio@iqseek.com.
