All right, let me see what an untrained puter tech can do. You have 3 options, all 3 of those options might work but only if you finally start setting some reasonable boundaries. 1. Reestablish the therapy relationship, continue to give her treatment, but ONLY when she is able to pay. This is a professional relationship. Take away her privileges to your home phone, and start to establish some true boundaries around your therapy relationship. This one might be the hardest to do though. It might be too late. 2. Let go of the therapy relationship, and start to build a real collegial friendship. In doing this it would be very appropriate with a LONG conversation about the format and boundaries around this friendship. Are you guys even able to have such a conversation in all honesty? 3. Tell her that this is a mess you need to get out of and terminate the relationship except for possible accidental interactions within professional forums. I wonder with this option would you be afraid of her turning into a stalker? Just wondering of course. I think, no matter what kind of relationship you choose to have with this woman, the most important is that you establish appropriate boundaries for that kind of relationship. Anyways, this is the summary of the night from the puter tech. Kind regards,
Da Friendly Puter Tech
