It is indeed possible to abuse a living being, but to abuse a dead substance is absurd. It is indeed possible to abuse oneself with a dead substance, but the very term “substance abuse” is indeed a type of oxymoron.

Once you view the situation in its true light and realize that the problem is not “substance abuse” but rather “abusing oneself with a substance” the problems becomes much clearer in the context of reality.

Let us assume for a moment that the Earth and the entire universe is sentient and aware in a manner not yet discovered by man. If mankind knew for a fact that the Earth was a living being do you think they would be abusing and destroying the Earth as they are doing? I think not! If the Earth is indeed a living being the guilt of the crimes of humanity become blindingly clear.

What if one of the only ways the Earth can fight back against mankind is to destroy as many human lives as possible through the energetic manipulations of certain plants? If the Earth could indeed fight back in such a manner I have little doubt that it would.

Your so-called problems of “substance abuse” may one day be revealed to be the very real revenge of Mother Earth.
