Curious: Because of the brevity of this format of communcating I have left some information out of necessisty. I have known both of these people for a number of years. I know him. I know her. I know the history. This most recent event brought on by him causes a concern on my part because of what I know about both of them. You sound like a person who can take care of herself. Good. Jean is not like that. She cannot even verbally put someone in their place as you did with the friend who came to see you. You cannot compare yourself or your circumstance with her. There are other powerful events working in Jean's life right now emotionally, spiritually, and physically that she is trying to deal with. More than you can conceive of, truly. All I wanted was someone to give me their unbiased opinion about what his motive might be to check myself and not draw a hasty conclusion, because this has an effect on what and how I examine this with Jean. When it comes to men, Jean is not like you. She needs coaching so she can at least get a mental concept of how to handle certain things about men. There is no way she could have handled your situtation like you did. Though trauma does have some same affects on people, there are still differences because of the difference in people, their backgrounds, etc.
As far as my writing skills, don't make judgements when someone is just trying to give necessary facts. I have been published w/o the aid of an editor.
I do thank you for your insights, some were quite good and right on target, and I hope that you continue to do well.
