Re: Pathology and "Mental Illness"

This psychiatry is a cult belief sure sounds like it was borne in the cult of Scientology. As with any profession, there are some psychiatrists who are more peculiar (or disabled) than their patients. True, these so-called professionals should be gently but firmly escorted from the profession however, what makes psychiatry/psychology/psychotherapy/counseling a necessity is that people are suffering out there. Watch a person who is experiencing psychotic delusions or a mixed mood state....that person is in pain and if we don't do something to help, whether it be psychiatry or spirituality, how can we sleep with ourselves at night?
