Physical Beatings in the Workplace?! More Info Please!

CBru: If you read this, could you contact me as I would like to get more information from you on this unusual case of physical abuse within the workplace being masked as motivation development! This is an incredible case!

Sorry to have missed this post earlier. Seems like your boss may be involved in somekind of reenactment ritual....I am very interested in how managers take advantage of their power position and misuse role to reenact some earlier (mostly highly) shaming mistreatment of their own from an earlier time.

Reenactment is a very common thread in "bullying" but does not often show up as physical abuse except in special circumstances in which the perpetrator has unusual protection. I do know of two other cases of severe physical abuse at work where both the perpetrator and "victim" are reenacting childhood scenes.

Anyway I would like to dialogue with you about this for research purposes. We could keep all names and places fictional in our e-mail discussion. The research would be used to alert and protect other working people so please keep in mind you would definitely be helping others.
