What he said.....and also to that end, watch that you keep the child out of the conflicts. That includes fighting in front of him, arguing about him, badmouthing the other parent to him, treating him angrily because you are mad at the other parent, or refusing to cooperate with care and discipline simply to spite eachother. In other words, don't burden him with adult concerns.
