Hello, I have just completed a book which is about to be published by Greenwood Publishers. It is called "when Words Have Lost Their Meaning: Art Therapy for Alzheimer's. As far as I know this is the first book specifically related to art therapy for Alzheimer's rather than activity oriented therapies. Im hoping there will be a market for the book and maybe someone can suggest places, bookstores, conferences etc that might be interested in the book. I think Alzheimer's disease is a very important, untapped niche for art therapists seeking emplyment. I hope that my book legitimises art therapy as a valid therapeutic mode for dementia sufferers.
