Medical Art Therapy- Thank you Cathy!

I have been working in a children's hospital as an art therapis Intern for three months. This is the first time this hospital has used an art therapist in the child life department. I immensely enjoy this work. Is there any information available about grants that the hospital could apply for to expand the art therapy services? I did a parent group for PICU parents last week and it went really well- they want to make art therapy available more often. I have read the NEA website about the meeting about arts in the hospital- I am in Texas and art therapy is very scarce here- there is alot of room for growth! If Cathy Malchiodi reads this: thank you for your books about Medical Art Therapy they have been my jumping stones into the world of hospital life- also the video Paint Me A Future which I am showing the Child Life staff at an inservice about art therapy in two weeks. They have been wonderful!
