A group of art therapists in the Portland area are in the beginning stages of re-establishing the Oregon Art Therapy Association. Our purpose is to develop a professional chapter with a strong sense of community, where members can experience a sense of connection and support as they continue to develop their identities as art therapists and enhance their professional practices. We hope to create an environment where thoughts, ideas, and experiences are exchanged and creativity flows. We invite you to join us. We would love to hear your vision for OATA and for you to help us create a strong chapter. If you are interested in helping us get started, joining, or receiving further information about OATA, please e-mail the following information to oregonarttherapy@aol.com by May 15th: your name, e-mail address, street address, home phone number, work phone number, and anything you want us to know about your level of interest. There will be a gathering on Sunday, June 1st at 1:00 pm for all interested in reactivating OATA. We will send you further details once we receive your current contact information. PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO OTHER ART THERAPISTS IN OREGON YOU KNOW. Feel free to contact Dana at 503-381-1941 with any questions. We look forward to hearing from you. PLEASE EMAIL ALL REPLIES TO THIS POST DIRECTLY TO:
