    Re:should art therapist create alongside their client?

    Dear Anonymous (posted 01/07/03),
    As one of the editors, I believe there should be room for everyone's opinion in a forum about art therapy, so feel free to use your name, even if you'd like to convey your ideas through cynicism. You should know that it was one of the pioneers of art therapy, Margaret Naumburg, who referred to the profession as "the art therapy racket."
    It is crucial in any profession to write about failures as well as successes, so I'd like to thank you for starting a discussion in that direction, even if it was done unwitingly.
