There was a short thread about credibility back in June. Here's a resource. Jerome Kagan's book, "Surprise, Uncertainty, and Mental Structures," describes research on schematic and semantic structures in memory. The former are perceptually based. The latter are based on language. While Kagan does not discuss using visual materials/activities in psychotherapy, his discussion of schematic structures appears to lend support to the creative arts therapies. Jim Beecher
