Hi Chelsea. There are two primary Drama Therapy schools in the USA that are accredited: NYU and CIIS (in San Francisco). The program at CIIS offers a Masters degree in counseling psychology with an emphasis in drama therapy. The one at NYU offers a Masters in drama therapy. There are also several individuals and smaller institutions offering Masters level drama therapy credentialing programs. You should check out the NADT, and can get a fair amount of info there....Renee Emunah and Robert Landy are the two heads of the aforementioned grad programs and have some good books out there that may be helpful in familiarizing yourself with drama therapy.

As you have inferred, drama therapy is used with children, but also with adults, teens, etc.. in all kinds of agencies, hospitals, prisons, businesses and institutions.
