Dear Rob,
I am sorry I deleted your previous question. I am moved by your search for understanding, but no answers can be provided to you on this forum. The reason I cannot answer you here is that this forum is strictly for an exchange of ideas between mental health professionals. It is not a source of information for consumers of mental health. There are art therapists who are qualified to provide art therapy to people with asperger's syndrome, if you would like to explore it further. In fact, there was an outstanding presentation on asperger's at the last national art therapy conference. I cannot refer you to anyone specific on this forum, but you are welcome to call the American Art Therapy Association at (847) 949-6064 to get the names of art therapists in your area who are qualified to work with you, or e-mail them at arttherapy@ntr.net. Their website is www.arttherapy .org
With every good wish
Martin Perdoux
