I suggest you start with movement to music - singing & vocalising simple tunes, nursery rhymes, childrens songs. Once the words & music have been learned add actions while seated or standing then - singing & moving to singing & music where there is sufficent floor space. If you can get a live musician - fiddler, accordian player -tuba player - anyone with the time & a sense of fun - to be part of the lessons so much the better. Later the kids could draw/ make costumes/ paint/ tell stories/ make up their own songs & tunes. Nothing like putting on a show for parents & friends to stimulate interest & enthusiasm.
