    art therapy and vicarious traumatisation
    tania · 10/26/01 at 11:18 PM ET

hi all, i'm studying art therapy in Melbourne Australia and am looking for literature, ideas etc on the subject of arts therapists and vicarious traumatisation. that is, how do we are therapists become traumatised by the material we are witness to and how this is different from most literature which focuses on verbal therapy and vt. also how are the effects of vt ammelorated by arts therapists? any thoughts? thanks, tania. my email is taniareid@hotmail.com if you prefer to respond that way.
