    Creativity and humor in psychotherapy
    :Monica · 10/14/01 at 5:38 PM ET

I am trying to gather ideas for a series of group programs to reinforce psychotherapy progress primarily in borderline clients. Rather than be Yet Another Group that deals with interpersonal and psychological dysfunction head-on, I am seeking to help clients develop humor, self-confidence, self-expression and intrinsic motivation through art activities. THe goal is to induce clients to develop ongoing interests/hobbies in their lives. I have a firm belief that having an ongoing interest to engage in on a regular basis can help carry a person through many difficult times. Any ideas for inexpensive art activities that will foster such goals?
