Most art therapists and expressive therapists practice with a Master's degree in their specialty from an accredited university. You may find interesting info on phototherapy on a site (www.phototherapy-centre.com) mentionned further down on this forum. Also on this forum, you will find notes on Master's programs in art therapy.
In the meantime, someone with your qualifications in photography might also be able to find interesting artist-in-residence positions in your area (look at park districts, YMCAs, etc...)
