Role play is a useful exercise with any drama group.. getting a taxi, travelling on a bus, train, plane. Having a hair cut, shoe shine, manicure. Ordering a meal. Making a complaint. Being a bitch. Being an arrogant prick. Put downs. The students will soon realise that the possiblilities are endless & the approaches can be sad, serious, hilarious, revealing...& eventually will quite naturally lead on to some interesting script-writing.
