I am posting this message (and I am completely new to this technology) having just read Cathy Malchiodi's book. I decided to try this for the first time as I found the book simply fascinating in the challenges it presents to art therapy and art therapists. (Congratulations to the author! If only for completing such a project in four months!) I am a teacher for the MA Art & Education, at the University of Central England in Birmingham, UK. On the course I have responsibilty for teaching about art therapy in the broader context of art education and have just started a new module for the MA entitled "Art and Health". As part of this, I intend to maintain a website, primarily for students on the course, but in time, for others who find the site (when it is picked up by search engines) or by accident browsing. The main theoretical strand of the unit is reflexive practice and I would be interested to contact any art therapists who would like to visit the site. If you contact me via kate.broom@uce.ac.uk I will send you a direct link to the site and would welcome any comments about its content or suggestions for inclusion of links.
