my name is Marta and I am a student of Speech Pathology in Czech Republic. I am working on my final Thesis called "Art Therapy in Speech Pathology". I would like to do my reasearch with people with afasia and I am looking for any methods from visual Art Therapy to use for these people to help them out with their communication and finding new ways how to accept themselves, as well as possibility of art therapy as a part of treatment of afasia, balbuties - stutters and other speech disorders and difficulties.
Do you have any ideas or suggestions for me?
I live outside of US, so I thinkg it would be a problem to get all of the literature dealing with this.
