Doctor interested in preventive art therapy

I am a general medical practitioner in Newcastle, Australia. I have a strong interest in art therapy, and am currently doing a Masters of Pyschological Medicine. I plan to do a M.A. in Art Therapy after that.My special interest is in finding out whether the adult onset of various mental health problems/illnesses can be prevented by the use of art therapy in children who are identified as at higher risk than their peers.I am planning my own thesis, to begin in june 2000, to cover a similar field, and would be very interested in any ongoing discussion.
