Making a Memory, the book and program

I recently aquired this book, Making a Memory. The book describes a progam designed to facilitate communication through art with alzheimers patients. I am an activity Director working with 30 residents, all diagnosed with alzheimers type dementia. I wonder if anyone has used this book/program, and i am looking for some feedback. I see the program as very viable, and I am thinking about trying the techniques in a community setting, perhaps through the park district, adult day care or respite care. I am also looking for contacts in the chicago suburbs who may be interested in participating, or funding such a program. Please respond here or/and at my e-mail sarahprobst@hotmail.com
