Pioneering the DT field in Canada

Greetings! Drama Therapy is a new field in Canada and North America for that matter. Concordia University (Montreal, Quebec) started a DT masters program in 1997 and has 25 current students. We have classes 3 days a week and are placed at a practium site 2 days a week, I am currenly at a Geriatric Hospital (others are in Psyc hospitals, children's hospitals, Developmentally Disabled centers). There has been an overwhelming positive response from the practium settings - which makes us feel a bit more confidant about job placement later on. If you are prepared to do lots of inservices and such I think the jobs are out there. You might want to contact Concordia for more info.
