I don't know of any programs to train play therapists (jump in here, someone, if you do, but the play therapists I know learned from getting supervised by a play therapist. I suggest you find a play therapist in your area (perhaps through sexual abuse treatment agencies that treat children) and get her to supervise you. I wonder as well if there are books on this within the education libraries at universities (from a preventative education perspective). I'll bet there are, or the professors there would know how to access the information.
I know the Red Cross in BC (Vancouver) Canada has a very good program that goes to high schools, but not with puppets.
