I have no suggestions for you only encouragement.
I also am wondering what I should be doing.
One person told me that it may be restrictive if you focus on a masters in art therapy.
She said to Masters or PhD in Psych but specialize in art therapy.
Another Art therapist told me go for the gold, Master in art therapy.
Who knows but I am still trying to find out where to grow and go.
