Hi, I'm really interested in this site. I am not an art therapist but am currently working with an art therapist here in Sydney on some personal stuff. I have long been interested in this area so this is a good way for me to explore it - from the inside! I guess I don't know too much about it but I'm keen to know more as I think it is a powerful tool that appeals to me precisely because it is not a logical/rational technique that gets caught up in explanation. It seems that by working visually in a dimension that you can define and to some degree control, you can try out different things that you would be too scared to otherwise, express things that you have trouble with otherwise and in this seemingly simple way begin to transform your usual behaviour patterns.
