Massaging of the buttocks is gestalt therapy?

Massaging of the buttocks is gestalt therapy?
    by T. Dunn, 3/2/97

In a hearing for revocation of an LPC's license for sexual misconduct, a Dorothy Moffett from Denver, certified in gestalt therapy testified that "it is perfectly normal for gestalt therapy to include the massaging of the buttocks and thights". She also testified that many gestalt therapists prefer to straddle their patient's legs while giving backrubs. Can somebody explain to me what this type of "therapy" has to do with treatment of a woman who presented with complains of anxiety caused by sexual harrassment on the job? Also, is this truely a part of gestalt therapy or is this pure "BS therapy" (my quotes)?
