I just attended a workshop she gave on domestic violence. She is supposed to be the BIG KAHUNA of domestic violence counseling for victims. I found her presentation very credible. Her take on EMDR was that it was a great adjunct to the therapy process. I support her view. My own perspective is that any theoretical approach is valid when used in the proper context with the proper training. I don't believe, though, that any one approach works for every client or every issue. But I myself am very interested in the possibilities of EMDR. The mind and body are integrally connected.
